Excellence and tradition.
When we were contacted by Jason, a pizzeria chain owner from USA, we dedicated special attention in planning his itinerary of Naples and surroundings.
His requests were endless, the days were counted and the group was numerous. We immediately summoned our entire staff to optimize the timing and obtain the best results.
As usual we started from their first request: a tour of what we believe to be the three best pizzeria in the region. Three days characterized by excellence and tradition.
Christine, Jason's partner, wanted to include the Amalfi coast, and we couldn't disappoint her! We took them to Positano, where Leslie and Jean wanted to go shopping, and then to Ravello and Amalfi. Final destination Atrani, an antique fishermen's hamlet often used as filming location, where they stayed in a boutique hotel. How could they not appreciate the archways, courtyards and winding steps of the smallest municipality of Italy? The last two days in Naples were planned in detail. Christmas was behind the corner, so it was a “must” to visit San Gregorio Armeno, famous worldwide for its colourful workshops where artisans craft the renowned nativity scenes. We couldn't miss the opportunity to give Jason a nativity scene figurine of a pizza chef as souvenir of his holiday.
Mario, our art history expert, took them on a fascinating tour of the churches and palaces in Baroque style all the way up to the district “dei Vergini”, to then descent into "the city under the city" and visit tombs going back to ancient Greece.A goodbye cocktail “ADHOC” before departure was arranged in a private residence on the second floor of an historical building in Via Foria hosted by Antonio, an architect who works and lives in this beautiful flat.
Alessandra, our chef , prepared delicious finger food to salute our friends and they promised to return soon...you can't do everything in one single visit!
